Blooming

name : Delgermaa Demberel (Mongolia)
course : Fashion Design

I've got the inspriration from galaxy, nature, and people. Because these things are mysterious, undescribable, unpredictable and somehow beautiful but sometimes it’s scary you won’t never ever guess the exact theory of it so that inspired me a lot to make this clothes. I made this clothes using many different materials; for the head wear I made ordinary paper face mask then I painted the mask using acrylic paint to what I desired it to be. Then I used glue gun and felt to make the horns but firstly I made the design of horns with clay then I poured the gypsum onto the clay when it has dried completely it became mold so I made 4 types of mold including small, big, narrow, thick. Then I made a corset using felt. Next I decorated it with my own design using gemstones, glitter glue gun and other types of glues to attach the gemstones. And for the arm part I used thick plastic tablecloth. I cut the material into many small pieces then I folded and glued it onto the arm part. Then for the body wear I used spandex material to be more flexible and more comfortable. For foot wear I used same technique as for the mask. I used hot glue gun, felt and for the painting I used acrylic and spray. Lastly for the heelless shoes I used old platform high heels, then I pulled off the heels and then I added the height in the front of the heelless shoes.

VOGUE - The Perpetual Legend

name : Phuong Thao Dinh (Vietnam)
course : Interior Design

The concept "The Perpetual Legend" derived from the Vision of Vogue magazine- a celebration of unfolding history through lens of style. The Vision of Vogue is not only promoting real-time trends but also influentially defining fashion, breaking the stereotypes. The history of fashion reflected in every page of Vogue magazine, shine back in the three key words: Contrast, Reflective and Ornamental.
Vogue reflects the history by capturing the progression of feminist and fashion on iconic photograph- bold and contrastive where traditional, contemporary adornment contrast with the direct fashion-forward structure of modern aesthetic. Featuring in every page of Vogue is style and fashion, which has shone the spotlight on diversity in politics, art and culture. Vogue's content infused with the spirit of openness, revealing histories and ambitions, through posture, deportment, and the details of ornamentation in style and fashion concept.
Therefore, the concept is reflected back in the interior space by utilised the elements of ornamentation as integral to the structure and variety of materials and textures, emphasizing the contrast in colours, materials, textures and shape and reflective material, creates visual interest. The working atmosphere shows itself to be open and communicative, suggest collaboration in transparent and dignified working environment- the rooms of Vogue Magazine possess solid, timeless elegance, blooming at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This project challenges the discriminatory place designed for women in various Jewish ceremonies in a patriarchal social structure. The textiles are woven in a shaatnez mixture forbidden by Jewish Law (halacha), and the garments are designed in the context of female archetypes. Blooming

name : Holly Sophia Julia Cunliffe (UK)
course : Painting and Drawing

I first came up with the idea of a busy street scene and the effect of buildup on a London tube thinking of the phrase “blooming inconvenience” followed by other representations such as to the bottom left the old lady and the young girl with the mirror representing blooming in beauty and youth with a healthy, energetic, and attractive appearance. Above to the left of the young girl, there is a pregnant lady for the blooming of life and the“rejuvenating effect “ who is walking past a café which is the Blooming café in London. I tried to keep a radiant colour pallet with gold and pinkish tones whilst incorporating buildings in the Uk with the classic black and white decorative architecture. With a kind of grey overtone for the classic British weather “What blooming awful weather!”
