✑ PURPOSE OF THE COMPETITION

Florence, sometimes called the “museum of no roof ”, is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. The city of which modern Italy is proud as a center of art had reached one of its pinnacles between the 14th and 16th centuries, when creative energies and techniques of artisans flourished.

“The International Art & Design Competition” takes place in this marvelous environment. The aim of the competition is to contribute to the revitalization and internationalization of the entire Italian Art, Design and Crafts industries, by discovering new artists, fostering their talents, and in the meantime promoting the study abroad in Italy.

The Little Sweet Dream　The Seed of Hope

The Seed of Hope: The design is inspired by a song - Sacred Tree by Hua Chen Yu. The melody and the lyrics of this song not only gave me a scene with a lot of disasters happening in front of me, it also gave me the feeling of fear, desperate and lost. This will be the future of everyone if human keep polluting and damaging the Earth without any awareness about it.
In designing this piece, I used pear shape of yellow sapphire to represent the seed to hope, which mean that we still have opportunities to save our Mother Earth. Green tone and blue tone of color gemstones are used in this design to represent the beauty of the Earth which haven’t been destroyed and polluted yet. Different sizes of pear shape diamond are used to represent the germinate shoot of the seed of hope. It’s never too late to mend and never give up.

We need to breathe to survive, which also makes me inspired that Earth needs to breathe too. The Earth I imagined that I want is vastly colorful but also peaceful and cute so I created a "breath land" with nature spirit. The Leucojum aestivum is the main element that I choose to apply in my both designs which is the symbolism of new life, when it is in full bloom, it is like showing the joy of the earth's welcoming spring. My necklace design shape is inspired by human lungs and contains a few little nature spirits in the land. The land was built with he tian jade shaped as Leucojum aestivum, watermelon tourmaline mountains, red fish agate with gold tails, sunrise and also sunset, blue electroplating with pave setting diamonds sea waves, and pearl as the chain.

The pieces I designed are inspired by a person who is meditating and vibrating his heart with all the creatures on earth, which I showed in blue and green, and the heart of the earth becomes one, and finally, like a lotus flower, which in ancient Iran symbolizes perfection. This Is the manifestation of all enlightenment, creation, fertility and, rebirth.
The metal used in these pieces is platinum, which is the rarest and most precious metal in jewelry. And I showed azure (Lapis lazuli), stones that symbolize the opening of the body's energy channels, and another that coincides with the vibration of truth. I also used diamond stones to vibrate energy.
Finally, I used garnet stone to represent the heart and core of the earth, representing the passion, love, and physical, emotional, and spiritual support that balances energy and vibrates them in the same frequencies.

In my design, I tried to use whats happening in Hong Kong during 2022 to show only when people learn to love the earth as god love, the earth can be as great as I want. If people in the world can treat each other and other species just like how god treat us, the earth world be free, peace and full of joy.
The colours and cutting were clearly inspired by the angel in Christian artworks.The elements including hamster embroidery, Hong Kong people’s last name signature, the floral emblem of Hong Kong, boar’s fur pattern and hamster wheel to show how’s hamster and boar have great relationship with people.Mixing these up with some red lines to show the wound animals got from human.
Most of the fabric are chiffon, silk fabrics, batiste, twill and lace. Plastic will also be apply into the design in the part of hamster wheel and wings which will show as a metal.

Comprehending the natural essence of humanity, these artworks are illustrated with core criterias that make a person’s Earth a better Earth: love, sympathy, freedom, careness and sense of belonging. In my point of view, a world with love is a world worth existing in.
Different artworks, different attempts, different feelings - yet what inspired them all is the love in this world. Except the artwork “What If in Venice” was done digitally, other artworks were completed by analog materials. “Escapefrom Reality” is done with mix media, in order to make a better contribution to the notion of interaction and connection. I want each artwork tell a characteristically different story, but in the end they all still come back with the message of human interaction and human’s motion of love.

I got the inspiration from the beauties of Earth and how they are connected to each other in a very beautiful way. Center of the design is a big turquoise blue Opal stone representing Earth and the green leaves on it are the lands on water. The flowers around the opal stone are showing the different types of beautiful beings on earth and colorful life of the creatures living on it. In the design I also included moon and sun in different ways , the moon is shining in the right hand and the stars are shining on it and on the left hand there are the yellow line representing sun light reaching everywhere and at the end of the necklace the moon and the sun are gathered together to fix the necklace and about the red , orange , and the yellow stone under the earth (opal), they are showing the inside layers of earth with the related colors and the yellow stone is the center of it. In conclusion the design is a gathering of earth and everything related to it and how they are attached together in the most unbelievable beautiful way.

The Earth that I aspire to is a place where all of its inhabitants are united and there is no war or riot. A peaceful place where all of its dwellers give hands to each other to thrive together.
In this design, the black opal ball at the center of the ring represents the Earth planet which has been surrounded by a bed of stars. Furthermore, diamond-set bands that have encircled it, like bridges, connect and unify the different parts of it together, from south to north and east to west. Besides, they somehow resemble orbits around the Earth.
The flower shape of the ring emblematizes this concept that if we unite together, then, we can bloom and prosper.

I decided to use corals and tectonic plates as the main source of inspiration to remember the things that surround me, those things that are part of a whole.
The curved shapes describe very well the delicacy of the coral, this can also be said regarding the tectonic plates, as a result for the ring model proposed by me I decided to emphasize this.
Out of the desire to create an environmentally friendly ring design, the materials used are silver, 18k gold and recycled plastic, because silver and gold are materials that can be recycled indefinitely without great losses and recyclable plastic is a much better option.
Over time, corals have been used as ornaments in jewelry or art objects, however, I have chosen only to be inspired by the special shapes that are accompanied by vibrant, embossed, elegant colors of corals. to create a jewel that reminds us of corals and the ecosystem because I want a land that is aware of the importance of the problem.

I was inspired by a poetry that was written by an Iranian poet( Sohrab Sepehri). The poem is about the earth and the nature and how in love the poet is with life and the earth.

"I hear the garden breathing
Darkness falling down a leaf
And Light coughing from behind the tree.
I hear Water sneezing through the cracks of the rock.
Swallows dripping down through the ceiling of spring.
I am close to the beginning of the earth.
I take the pulse of flowers
I know the Wet Fate of Water, the Green Habit of Trees.
My soul flows in the new direction of objects.
My soul is young.”

Materials: white gold, sapphire, emerald, diamond and spinel.
I combined my idea with the poetry above and I turned it into a jewelry set. Actually my ideas come from drop water and flower and green of nature.

The picture is painted with acrylic paints of two types: classic and fabric paints. The sketch was made of pastel and charcoal. Next, I mixed acrylic paint and gouache. It was my own experiment. The picture is made on a canvas glued to cardboard.
All my creatures are alive. They exist, breathe, think, suffer and cry. They scream in pain and loneliness, but no one hears them. They are real, they are, they are here in this world next to us. They are my flesh and blood. They are my children, my everything, so I want to give them a voice. I want you to hear the cries of despair of my creatures.

He wants to say: “I lost a lot of time. It's like I've been to hell and I can't get out of here. Time seems to flow through me and take away everything I have. Now I'm this thing, this damn wire for the Internet. He has pierced my head and sucked out my life, my time, which I have so little time left. And the head. My God, how my head hurts. I no longer have the strength to endure this pain.
I can't cry. No tears. I seemed to be completely filled with pain, but the tears turned into a kind of jelly that cannot be squeezed out of my eyes. I want to cry, but someone took away my choice, so I can't. Can't or don't I have the right? I don't remember, I don't know. Who forbade me to cry?
