Fashion Design 7-One Year Course 2017

ANOTHER BEGINNING OF GAIETY

I’ve been sick for 3 days since the last weekend but do not forget head to the pharmacy nearby, they will give some medicine to help you get better.

I went back school for another lesson on Tuesday. So here is some simple sketches for my Gaiety mini collection.

On the left cloth: A knee long dress was designed and constructed swing constructed on the side and a zip sew on the back for convenience of wearing adding with the print and hand embroidery design. On the right cloth: A shirt was designed with big sleeve on the hand shoulder part and an open skirt internal and chiffon on top.

I was adviced to sketch the back design of the dresses as well just to make people understand how the dress works and how the details fits on the human body.

Here is another simple sketch without any details, elements and descriptions yet.

Here is another 3 designs inspired from Gaiety concept on the female body. I’m having an idea of putting some painting and brushes element on the dress. I would definitely have a final idea when it comes to rendering of colours.

Colour studies basic lesson was the final class this week and we had a test on the final class.

I queue up for 15 mins at the Marcato Centrale Firenze to try out the delicious pasta. It offers different type of pasta and sauce and it customizes the taste that suits you the best.

Location for art visit this week was at the the church of Santissima Annunziata. I also walked around on the Emilio Pucci family street as Ms. Babara especially made the tour for me because she knows I like the baroque churches.

A schiacciata was treat from Ms. Babara. The crushed (also called “ciaccia” or “schiaccia”) in Tuscany is a focaccia, baked in the oven, seasoned with olive oil and salted.
