Graphic Design Illustration Short Course (#02) – Roanne D.

I’m about to finish my cover, we made changes. The idea behind it is, a traveler (me) goes into a huge wine window that represents traveling to Firenze. And it is a collage of different elements that can be found in Florence.
Graphic Design blog(The Medici family emblem)
The Medici family for instance who were a prestigious banking family in Florence, or the old Firenze logo or emblem which you can see even on the old paintings.

The Fiore and the pigeons, the grapes and gelato, Dante and the vespa.

After I finished the cover, I started vexeling the 1st page which also had the elements of the first part of the story.

My first attempt was not that clear and so I did another version.
Graphic Design blog(Complete written 1st page)

After the illustration we designed the layout to take the shape of the wine window. We did the same with the 2nd page after I Illustrated it but, this week we only managed the cover, first page and the second page half way through.
