🇬🇧 Piazzale Michelangelo. My teacher told me that Piazzale Michelangelo was very beautiful, so I went to Piazzale Michelangelo at dusk with the students on the same course. The students were on their last day, so it was a great memory to be able to see Florence together at the end.
🇯🇵 ミケランジェロ広場。先生にミケランジェロ広場がとても綺麗だと教えて頂き、同じコースの生徒さんと一緒に夕暮れのミケランジェロ広場へ。生徒さんがこの日最終日だったので、最後に一緒にフィレンツェを一望出来てとても良い思い出になりました。

🇬🇧 To the sea. On my day off, I went to the sea called “Castglioncello” with students from another course. It’s a little far from Florence, about 2 hours, but it felt like a short trip and it was a lot of fun.
🇯🇵 海へ。お休みの日に別のコースの生徒さんと「Castglioncello」という海へ行きました。フィレンツェから2時間程とちょっと遠いですが、小旅行の気分でとても楽しかったです。

🇬🇧 Going to a Tuscan restaurant on your day off. On my way back from the sea, I went to a restaurant where I was taking cooking lessons for dinner. I was also able to use the voucher. The Italian food at the restaurant was also very delicious.
🇯🇵 お休みの日にトスカーナ料理のレストランへ。海の帰りに料理のレッスンを受けているレストランへディナーへ行きました。こちらもバウチャーの利用ができました。レストランで食べるイタリア料理もとっても美味しかったです。

🇬🇧 The “gnocchi” are also handmade. I was surprised at how easy and delicious it was!
🇯🇵 ニョッキも手作りです。とても簡単かつ美味しくてビックリしました!

🇬🇧 The art visit this time was “Walking around famous places in Florence”. I learned about the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and the Uffizi Gallery (outside). It was very interesting to know the history.
🇯🇵 アートビジット。今回のアートビジットは「フィレンツェ有名箇所の散策」でした。ドゥオモやシニョリーア広場、ウフィツィ美術館(外観)等に関して学びました。歴史を知れてとても面白かったです。

🇬🇧 Seafood cooking lesson. On this day, I learned how to cook seafood. Vongole pasta learned from making dashi soup. It was elaborate and very delicious! The most delicious pasta I’ve ever eaten with other students! It was delicious and highly acclaimed.
🇯🇵 魚介中心の料理レッスン。この日は魚介を中心とした料理を学びました。ボンゴレのパスタは出汁作りから学びました。手が込んでいてとても美味しかったです!他の生徒さんとも今まで食べたパスタで一番美味しい!と大絶賛の美味しさでした。

🇬🇧 I learned how to make tiramisu from each teacher. I was able to learn a wide range of ways to serve and how to make it by learning from each of the two teachers. Tiramisu is very easy to make. I thought I’d like to make my own original tiramisu.
🇯🇵 ティラミス。先生ごとにティラミス作りを学びました。2人の先生からそれぞれ教わったことで、盛り付け方や作り方を広く学ぶことが出来ました。ティラミスはとても簡単に作ることが出来ます。自分オリジナルのティラミス作りを極めたいなと思いました。

🇬🇧 To the Uffizi Gallery. After class, visit the Uffizi Gallery. Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus”, which is very famous in Japan, Michelangelo, Da Vinci, etc. I was able to enter smoothly without making a reservation.
🇯🇵 ウフィツィ美術館へ。レッスン後にウフィツィ美術館へ。日本でもとても有名なボッティチェリの「ヴィーナスの誕生」や、ミケランジェロ、ダヴィンチ等が収蔵されています。予約をしなくてもスムーズに入ることが出来ました。

🇬🇧 Cafe. There were two cafes where you can use drink vouchers. Both were nice cafes where the clerks were frank and comfortable. I was happy to have a “favorite cafe” that I go to many times in a foreign land.
🇯🇵 カフェ。ドリンクバウチャーの利用ができるカフェが二ヵ所ありました。どちらも店員さんがフランクで居心地が良い素敵なカフェでした。異国の地で何度も通う「行きつけのカフェ」が出来たことが嬉しかったです。

🇬🇧 Two weeks in Florence flew by. As soon as I arrived in Florence, I was worried about the heat and mosquitoes (laughs), but I gradually got used to the mosquitoes and the heat. Not only did I learn Italian cuisine, but I was able to spend a very fulfilling two weeks, as I was able to visit Florence and make friends with similar interests. I’m so glad I participated!
🇯🇵 フィレンツェの2週間はあっという間でした。フィレンツェに着いてすぐは暑さと蚊の多さで不安も多かったですが(笑)徐々に蚊と暑さにも慣れていきました。イタリア料理を学べたことはもちろんのこと、フィレンツェ観光や同じ趣味の友人もでき、とても充実した2週間を過ごすことが出来ました。参加して本当に良かったです!
