Interior Design vol.5 – One Year 2018 (z.h.w)
It’s been a month I been Florence, times fly. Starting to draw details part by part for my work is different to set up drawing scale and color that I worked before.
This week Prof. Bicci talked about the materials of glass, window, and laminate finished. It’s a surprise for me that they have so many types of pattern on one material, maybe some of pattern currently still popular in Malaysia.
We went to visit the Palazzo Davanzati for our art visit class. Palazzo Davanzati is an ancient Florentine House. Palazzo Davanzati built by Davizzi family around 14th century. There had keep the furniture and some of the daily supplies.
Full of the house is decorated with painting at the ceiling and wall with family symbol and family ties. The little ceramic made on different shapes was used for warming hand in cold day.
And this weekend I went to the Bargello National Museum (Museo del Bargello) with my classmate. When entering to the courtyard, the wall are covered with many costs of arms. Inside the museum has collection of many Renaissance sculptures and small masterpieces from different periods. And also they have collections of bronzes, majolica, waxes, enamels, medals, seals, ivories, amber, tapestries, furniture and textiles from the Medici collections and those of private donors.
