Interior Design 6-One Year Course 2017(Student2)
This week I showed my carpentry drawing – Image (17) -. This is a tv cabinet design. And lecturer was happy with my work. After that he gave me a new task which was quite hard. He asked me to sketch out my own idea design which he did not give me any guide. He asked me to sketch out what design I like and then only based on that sketch to do what I project. So, next week he’ll ask me to show him the sketches that he wants.

Besides that, during colour studies class, lecturer showed us a lot of famous artist of paintings with which – Image (4) & Image (5) – she explained the pictures to us. She also asked us a lot question so that we would not get lost during class. After that, she gave us a test on paper which is to do the colour table. – Image (3) – I usied marker to create the tone and saturation in the colour.

On Thursday, lecturer decided to bring us to the manufacturer marble factory and furniture shop so that we could know more information and the latest design. The marble factory people explained how the machine works and what it can supply for customer. – Image (9,10) – after that, we went to the show room and saw variety of marble design. Lecturer also explained the differentiated between porcelain and marble, let us know how to see whether is marble or stone as well.

After that we also went to furniture design shop which is Santiccioli shop. Inside this shop got a lot creative furniture and a lot designed furniture also. – Image (13-16) – these are some of the pictures that I took at that shop. I wish to have more field trip like this, because it helps a lot on my studies and we can gain a lot faster.
