Picture 8 : All the pottery on display in the museum was found during excavations carried out in the Montelupo Historic Center, and it includes a collection of ceramic works from the end of the 13th century to the 18th century.
Picture 9 : The potter’s workshop was where a large number of complex activities were carried out. As demonstrated by the items on display here, it was a place where production and experimentation were carried out, as well as and teaching of the trade.
Picture 10 : This one was made in 1480 as a tribute to nanina
Picture 11 : Any artist’s cry to his heart can store symbols of symbolic meaning in his works. Just like this work, the two most powerful families in the history of Florence, this plate is a metaphor for the historical background at that time.
Picture 12 : From the excavation of Casa Sinibaldi 1440-60
A small pot, decorated according to the damask cannon. Presented with strong symbolic elements of the sun and moon, the expression has a feeling of suffering.
