Painting-Drawing 8-Master Course 2017 (Student1)

Monday lesson I started my second landscape painting. For that I chose my own picture I’d taken at the Tavarnuzze Florence Italy. Professor Alessandro taught me ‘’ sky’’ takes the major position of the landscape painting, so I placed it at first. I started the shadows of the clouds, I used a mix of cobalt blue, ivory black and titanium white. After doing shadows I began to lay the clear part of the sky with white color.

Next step I placed rocks and other details of my painting following the composition rules. And I made the green foreground by putting some color to represent the beginnings of sunlight with cadmium yellow deep. Then I focused house on my painting and finally I did the tree which is located on the front of my composition.

Tuesday evening I and my fried went I Gigli, shopping complex. It’s a huge mall with variety of budget and upscale shops. Apple store is more attractive place where there for me.

Wednesday my friend ‘’Shivani’’ went back to her home India after finishing her bag design course. It was so much hard to say good bye to her.

This week Tuesday I started work on my same painting which I’d started last week. After adding umber and gray layers I started adding colors according to the original painting. I used gray as foundation color and mixed peach white colors to do highlighting on the meat. I really like the color combination of this painting and I try my best to get similar tones as original.

Then I started to add key features of the meat which helps me to add value to my painting.

Weekend I went Le Cascine park to spend some times. Cascine is the biggest park in the city Florence.

Even if something is left undone. Everyone must take time to sit still and watch the leaves turn
