The student is making a finger ring embedded with 20 stones.
The straight bar is first bended and than scraped with a line.
At this early phase of the work, the ring surface is still rough, but it will become smoother and smoother as the student proceeds with the polishing.
Once scaped the surface, students fix the gemstones on the frontal part of the ring. (This technique is called Stone Setting)
