Staff Blog≫ Painting & Drawing class (March 6, 2014)
Today, students are experimenting new painting techniques, on canvas and white boards, using a variety of different materials and tools, such as unusual brushes or other objects instead of brushes.
The ideas and approaches used are various: some students employ wide brushes, others drop the paint color on the paper and blow it around with a straw; others spray over the painted part or pour the color on tilted canvas.
Of course, sometimes the students do not get the effects they had expected, but it is also interesting to improvise, by applying something else to experiment new interesting solutions.
Students gather around the table and work on experimental drawing.

This student tries using a thick brush.
Prof. Erica shows what effects you can obtain by tilting the canvas.
