パヴェ留めの続きです。すべての石が留め終わりました。パヴェ留めをしたのは初めてで、一つ一つ確認しながら留めていったため時間はかかりましたが、石動きもなく綺麗に留めることができたのでよかったです。この後磨きの工程に入りますが、磨きすぎると爪がなくなり石が落ちてしまうため、慎重に磨いていきたいと思います。

先週土曜日のArt Stageでは、木製の箱に金箔を貼る授業がありました。箱に下地を塗り、表面が滑らかになるように紙やすりで削った後、接着剤のようなものを塗り、金箔を張り付けていきます。繰り返し塗って、乾かして、磨いて、と手間のかかる工程が多かったのですが、綺麗に仕上げることができてよかったです。

前回説明した葉っぱのピアスが完成しました。彫りを入れ二つのパーツを組み合わせた後に綺麗に磨きました。洋彫りの作業で何回も失敗しましたが、仕上げることができてよかったです。
