Bag Making 1- fall 2014
現在、私はS.M.Novella駅からバスで２０～３０分のところに住んでいます。
ミケランジェロ広場というフィレンツェを見渡せる丘も近所にあり、静かで落ち着いた地区です。
初回の授業は、道具の説明などでした。
二枚の革を糊で貼り合わせた後に、一本の針ではなく、二本の針で縫っているところの写真です。
これは、革の端を45°に削る道具です。
なので、箱を作るときに使用します。
この写真がその様子です。
この糸は、手縫い専用の糸だそうです。
なので、機械では使用することができません。
洋裁の糸に比べてかなり頑丈で太いです。
この道具は、アイロンといいます。
すごく硬い木でできているそうです。
アイロンをかけることによって、光沢がでます。
この道具は、手縫いの時に縫いたい部分をコンパスで線を入れ、
そのあとにこの道具でなぞると一定の点が革にうつります。
そこを針と糸で縫うときれいに仕上がります。
これは一定の幅で革を切る道具です。
そのためにベルトなどを作るときに、物差しで測り印を入れる必要もなく
切ることができる便利な道具です。
これはショッピングバッグの制作途中です。
型紙を革に書き写し、切り取った写真です。
真ん中のベージュの物は、バッグの底になる部分なので、少し硬いです。
