Furniture Design vol.20 – Master Course 2018 (s.s)
On today’s class, I showed my teacher the progress that I made on my project. We discussed on how to attach the panels to each other. He showed me different ways to do this, and explained to me the pros and cons.
On today’s art visit, we went to Strozzi Palace to see Verrocchio il Maestro di Leonardo. Andrea del Verrocchio was Leonardo’s teacher. Once Verrocchio saw Leonardo’s drawing, he knew that he couldn’t be as good as him. Thus the reason why he decided to do sculptures. Verrochio, Leonardo, and all the other artists shown in the exhibit, were really impressive. Seeing their works was really inspiring.
During my free time, I decided to make a Filipino dessert to my roommates. They have been asking me to make one ever since I came here. Finally, I have gathered some ingredients that I needed. I decided to make “Leche Flan” for them, since it’s one of my favorite dessert. It was actually my first time making one. Luckily, my roommates loved my first Leche Flan that I ever made!
Over the weekend, I walked around Florence. The weather was warm and very sunny. I’ve seen so many beautiful flowers that has blossomed, such as Wisteria. I’ve never seen so many beautiful flowers in my life. I’m so happy to have experience spring time here in Florence.
