Furniture Restoration Short Course (#8) – Hikaru.I
In the last class, we finished restoring the shell pieces we had been working on up to that point and learned how to harden the wood that was covered in insect bites and falling apart. I am glad that I was able to work carefully until the end!
In these two months, I was able to learn many things that I would not have been able to learn in Japan. Not only did I gain more knowledge about crafts, but I also developed a deeper interest and concern for the craft. I would like to continue to produce using the knowledge and experience I gained here!
I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the teachers who kindly and carefully taught me, the interpreters who eliminated the language barrier, and all the people who watched over me during my study abroad!
Thank you very much for the two months!
