初めての授業。先生がこれまで手掛けてきた様々な物件の経験を話してくださいました。先生！レベル高すぎます！（笑）

After school, we went to the Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy, said to be the oldest pharmacy in the world. Here is the show window. It is wonderful. I asked the suited clerk at the entrance and she told me that it is decorated with 50% dried flowers and 50% faux flowers.

学校が終わって、世界最古の薬局と言われているサンタ・マリア・ノヴェッラ薬局に行きました。こちらはショーウィンドー。素晴らしいです。エントランスにいるスーツの店員さんへ尋ねると、ドライフラワー50%とフェイク50%を使って飾っているとのことでした。

I was shown the various details of the chairs. I have yet to see such detailing in Japan. As with the World Heritage buildings, Italians are very delicate in their work. I feel that they have something in common with the Japanese.

椅子の様々なディティールを見せていただきました。このようなディティールは、私はまだ日本では見たことがありません。世界遺産となっている建物もそうですが、イタリア人はとても繊細な仕事をされます。日本人とも共通している気がします。

Salvatore Ferragamo: The main store in Florence. My teacher worked on the interior design and told me about the details, so I went to see the store in person. ‘I’m studying interior design, let me see!’ I went inside. The colors and materials were neatly arranged, and the interior was beautiful and majestic, bringing out the value of the products.

サルバトーレ・フェラガモ：フィレンツェ本店です。先生が内装を手掛け、その詳細を話してくれたので、実際に店舗へ見に行ってきました。「インテリアデザインの勉強中なので見せてください！」と中へ入りました。色と材質はすっきりとまとめられ、商品価値を引き出す内装は美しく荘厳さを感じました。

The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. It is a stunning sight. No matter how far I step back, I can’t capture the whole thing on camera.

サンタ・マリア・デル・フィオーレ大聖堂。圧巻です。どこまで下がっても、全体をカメラにおさめることは出来ません。

Strolling through the city, I looked behind me and saw the Duomo. There are many moments like this. It’s presence is amazing.

街を散策していて、ふと後ろを見るとドゥオーモが。こんな瞬間が何回もあります。この存在感すごいです。

It’s so stylish that you can buy wine from outside without going inside.

店内に入らず、外からこうやってワインが買えるなんてオシャレです。

I wondered what this picture was, and upon closer inspection, I found that it was a building under construction. I was surprised to see such a picture on the scaffolding net! In Japan, when castles and other buildings are being renovated, it looks like nets with pictures. Even though the way of expression is different, we often find similarities between Japan and Italy.

この絵は何だろうとよく見ていると、これは工事中の建物でした。足場ネットにも、このような絵が書いてあることに驚き！日本でもお城など改修の時は絵付きのネットみたいですね。表現方法が違っていても、日本とイタリアの共通点を見つけることが多いです。

The famous Ponte Vecchio. Musicians were playing on the bridge and it was very lively.

有名なヴェッキオ橋。橋の上では音楽家が演奏をしていて、賑やかでした。
