Class Introduction
This week’s interior design class included a lesson on materials. The teacher prepared reference materials such as wood, metal, and stone, and explained their advantages and disadvantages. Some of the materials were new to me and I was able to deepen my knowledge of them.

授業紹介
今週のインテリアデザインの授業では素材の授業がありました。先生が木材や金属、石材などの参考となるものを用意してくださり、それらの長所や短所を説明してくれました。中には今まで知らなかった素材まであり知識をより深めることができました。

Artvisit
The theme of this week’s Artvisit was the Santa Croce area. There are many old buildings in Florence, but the tower-shaped ones were the homes of the powerful. After the Arevisit, we had our first rain since arriving in Florence. Unlike in Japan, the rain here stopped rather quickly. Maybe it was just a coincidence.

今週のArtvisitのテーマはサンタクローチェ地区でした。フィレンツェには古い建物がたくさんありますが、中でも塔のような形をしたものは権力を持っていた権力者の家であり、昔は150以上の塔のような家があったのに対し現在はかなりの数が失われてしまったようです。Arevisitが終わった後フィレンツェに来てから初めての雨にあたりました。こっちの雨は日本とは違い割とすぐやみました。たまたま今回だけだったのかもしれませんが。

Meals
There was a party at the dormitory where I am staying because this week was the last one for some of the students. We had dinner at a restaurant called Oriolo. I had tuna stew? It was delicious with olive oil. After that, we went to GiLLi, one of the oldest cafes in Florence, for dessert. It was very sweet and delicious.

食事
僕の泊っている寮で今週が最後の子がいたのでパーティーがありました。オリオーロというレストランでご飯を食べました。僕はマグロの煮物？のようなものを食べたのですがオリーブオイルがきいていておいしかったです。そのあとGiLLiというフィレンツェの中でも古いカフェにデザートを食べに行きました。とても甘くおいしかったのでまた食べに行こうと思います。

Arezzo
IThis weekend, I decided to go to Arezzo, where there is an antique market. I wanted to visit Arezzo because it was recommended by a neighbor of my parents’ house. There were many people gathered at the antique market. It was fun to see so many different things!

アレッツォ
今週末はアレッツォという町に骨董市が開かれているということなので行ってみることにしました。アレッツォは僕の実家の近所の方がお勧めしてくれた町なので一度行ってみたかった町でした。骨董市にはたくさんの人が集まっていました。いろいろなものが見れて楽しかった！
