Interior Design vol.23 – One Year 2018 (r.s)
image #1-12: We have been to the farmacia Santa Maria Novella for this Friday’s Art Visit. It is the oldest pharmacy in the world. In the past, only monks were making and dealing medicines, and providing to injured people. They used those machines to make a perfume, soap, and medicines by pressing natural materials like roots, flowers, and leaves with alcohol (image 1,2,3). After the process, they put the liquid into small bins (Image 4,5), and they gave them to customers. Everything was quite classic and traditional. I especially liked the decollation at all the ceilings. Also, the store smells very good. I think the pharmacy is quite nice place to visit for tourists.
