Jewelry Design vol.17 – One Year 2018 (a.l.y)
For this week we move on to drawing of rings in perspective view.
First, we need to understand three dimensions and understand relationships between them.
And then we can conclude that when we draw rings, we can draw two guidelines to achieve the results that we want.
Ellipse appears when drawing perspective view. However, it does not apply here when we sketch out jewellery as they are usually small objects that ellipse can be ignored.
For understanding purpose, we drew three views of a box.
And we imagine the ring is in the box, so there are two circles on the two top view of the box.
After understanding the ring in a box, we can simply add stone anywhere we like on the ring.
Circonferenza and Ellisse to let us understand better the angle of the box.
Based on the theory, only when you go into practice you can test whether have you understand this topic. For beginners,it definitely requires more time and practice to digest this topic.
