Jewelry Design vol.20 – One Year 2018 (a.l.y)
The two most important in rendering jewellery is stones and metal. We will be focusing on metal for this week.
We have to keep in mind that when we render jewellery, the light source is always on the top left corner.
Different reflections of light on the curved surface and flat surface. We did a quick practice with watercolours.
Typical example showing how light reflects on one metal with different depth. It is easy to see when we break it down into parts.
Art visit, we visited the modern art museum just 10 minutes walk from the school.
There’s a video art just at the entrance of the second level, which is quite impressing.
A wall with modern art paintings and text to show the theme.
Most of the paintings are abstract, which strongly represent modern art.
A modern sculpture standing in the centre of the museum. In this exhibition, we could see modern art paintings, video art, the art of light and photography as well.
