Painting Restration1-Internship Course 2015-17
１６００年代の風景画家の作品です。過去に広く加筆されていたようで、変色した古いニスを取り除くと、特に中央部分の木はかろうじて形が分かるような状態でした。
いくつか欠損があり、空の部分も経年により絵の具が剥がれている箇所が多くあります。
欠損の補完と、形の再構築の練習をしました。欠損の部分は始めに水彩でベースカラーを施した後全体にニスをかけ、樹脂絵の具で補彩をします。木の部分は残っている断片をつなぎ合わせるように、画家の技法を真似ながら鑑賞可能なレベルまで形を取り戻していきます。
銅版に油彩で描かれた作品です。絵の具が欠けている箇所が数か所あり、そこを樹脂絵の具で補彩していきます。細密画のような繊細な画面のため、色の調整にもかなりの精度が要求され難しく、時間がかかりました。
フィレンツェの丘の上にあるサン・ミニアート・アル・モンテ教会です。ロマネスク様式を代表する１３世紀の建築物です。中心部に比べ観光客もそれほど多くなく、ゆったりと時が流れています。ここからはフィレンツェの歴史地区が一望できます。
ドゥオーモとヴェッキオ宮殿の間には、メディチ家礼拝堂のドームが見えます。
